INTERNATIONAL WORLD CONTEXT
A guide to reading aggregate country fields as dated context rather than deterministic facts about individuals or institutions.

WORKING BRIEF
A 2025 export can contain population, infrastructure, or economic estimates from earlier years. The original date markers are retained in the field text; the latest-looking file must not silently make every row current.
Population, urbanization, language, internet access, or economic structure can help describe conditions. They cannot establish an individual person’s identity, beliefs, competence, risk, loyalty, or conduct.
A field name determines what becomes visible and what disappears. The absence of a field may reflect publisher scope, data access, or editorial choice rather than absence of the underlying phenomenon.
A correlation between geography, infrastructure, law, or economy and an institutional outcome does not by itself establish causation. Alternative explanations and local evidence remain necessary.
Comparisons should ask how conditions differ, what sources support them, and how uncertainty changes. They should not collapse context into one number or permanent national character.
Every snapshot records its source entities and field names so a correction can be traced and propagated.
