INTERNATIONAL WORLD CONTEXT

World Context: 249 Jurisdictions Without Ranking

A non-ranking context layer for all 249 registry jurisdictions, using a preserved 2025 snapshot for geography, settlement, institutions, economy, connectivity, uncertainty, and data gaps.

ORIENTATION

Why this matters

REAL-WORLD INTERPRETIVE

One-sentence brief

Intelligence and security institutions operate inside physical, social, economic, legal, and infrastructural environments. Context improves interpretation only when it remains separate from stereotypes, protected-trait profiling, and national rankings.

REAL-WORLD INTERPRETIVE

Three key points

  1. All 249 registry jurisdictions receive a public context route.
  2. 241 routes map to one or more supplied dataset entities; eight preserve an explicit source gap.
  3. The dataset supplies context, not current-law verification or country-profile publication evidence.

WORKING BRIEF

Evidence, context, and limits

REAL-WORLD INTERPRETIVE

A context layer, not a country score

These pages summarize selected geography, settlement, legal-structure, economy, and connectivity fields from a frozen 2025 dataset. They do not rank countries, infer institutional quality, or convert aggregate conditions into judgments about people.

  • Common questions make coverage legible.
  • Different evidence volumes are not performance scores.
  • Missing data remains missing rather than being filled from neighbors or parent territories.
REAL-WORLD VERIFIED

Complete routes with honest gaps

The registry contains 249 navigation entries. The supplied CSV contains 260 named entities and 247 ISO2 values. Explicit name-based mapping connects 241 registry entries; three require transparent composite mappings and eight have no separate source entity.

  • Direct or alias single-entity mappings: 238.
  • Composite mappings: 3.
  • Explicit source gaps: 8.
REAL-WORLD INTERPRETIVE

A United States source perspective is not a neutral world view

The underlying Factbook tradition was produced from a United States institutional perspective. Its categories, naming choices, historical summaries, update cycles, and field availability reflect that provenance. The site uses its structured fields as one historical context source while keeping local, primary, multilateral, scholarly, and lived-experience sources necessary for stronger claims.

Limits and counterpoints
  • Byte identity verifies the file received, not the accuracy of every row or the authenticity of its export chain.
REAL-WORLD INTERPRETIVE

Selected fields and excluded fields

Public snapshots use bounded fields such as location, area, climate, terrain, hazards, population, settlement, languages, capital, government type, legal system, economic overview, industries, electricity access, internet use, airports, and ports. Background narratives, current officeholders, military detail, terrorism, transnational allegations, ethnic-group percentages, religion percentages, diplomatic postings, and ranking fields are not republished here.

REAL-WORLD INTERPRETIVE

Context does not publish an intelligence profile

A context page cannot move a jurisdiction from research queued to profile published. That requires current primary law or authoritative institutional material plus credible oversight, rights, appeal, remedy, audit, complaint, court, or correction evidence. The existing 146 published and 103 queued profile states remain unchanged.

REAL-WORLD INTERPRETIVE

Field-level freshness and correction

The snapshot label applies to the dataset, not necessarily to every estimate. Dates embedded in field text remain visible. Corrections should identify the jurisdiction, field, source entity, previous text, replacement evidence, and downstream pages affected.

Limitations, game links, and review context

DISPUTED / MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS

Known limitations and gaps

  • This is a frozen, single-source 2025 context snapshot. Individual fields may cite earlier estimate years, and the dataset is not a substitute for current primary law, local statistical agencies, courts, audit bodies, or lived-experience review.
  • The supplied CSV is byte-verified, but its export chain and institutional authorship are not authenticated by the filename alone.
  • Aggregate descriptions do not define any individual person, community, identity, loyalty, competence, safety, or political view.
  • No profile, ranking, threat score, morality score, intelligence-power score, or publication approval is created from this context layer.
  • Names, territorial groupings, and status labels follow the site registry for navigation and do not adjudicate sovereignty, recognition, borders, legitimacy, or moral status.
