INTERNATIONAL WORLD CONTEXT
Why exact file preservation, publisher perspective, export lineage, and independent corroboration are separate questions.

WORKING BRIEF
SHA-256 and byte length establish that the stored source matches the uploaded file. They do not prove who generated it, whether rows were altered before upload, or whether every field is accurate.
The World Factbook tradition reflects United States government collection priorities, terminology, geographic categories, and access. That perspective can be useful and still requires explicit attribution and correction.
The public Factbook was retired in 2026. This preserved 2025 snapshot is therefore treated as historical reference rather than a continuously maintained authority.
The 38 re-supplied virtual-society reports match already preserved hashes. Their repeated handoff is lineage, not new independent corroboration. The Factbook CSV adds one new unique source hash.
Legal structure, current institutions, rights, remedies, names, and lived conditions should be checked against current local-language primary material, courts, auditors, statistical agencies, multilateral records, and community expertise.
Public pages contain bounded transformations. The complete CSV, mapping ledger, internal records, and audit receipts remain outside the public HTTP surface.
