  • Technical connectivity, mission validity, delegated authority, and legal permission are separate conditions.

Analytical boundary: A web does not abolish chains. Connectivity does not create authority. Capability is not deployment; recommendation is not authorization; classification confidence is not positive identification; redundancy is not guaranteed resilience.

F2T2EA describes functions that must be satisfied for a particular engagement. A kill web describes a graph of possible sensors, decision services, communications paths, support capabilities, human authorities, and effectors from which one or more mission-valid chains may be selected.

  • Process and architecture are related but not interchangeable.
  • A fixed chain can contain redundancy; a nominal web can still hide a single point of failure.

The architectural value lies in delaying some pairings until current availability, confidence, reachability, capacity, policy, and command authority are known. If a preferred path fails, the system can compare alternate combinations rather than assuming the mission is impossible.
