One-sentence brief
Escrow can reduce fraud, but opaque automation can create a different injustice. Fair contracts require mutual consent, bounded collateral, accessible terms, evidence preservation, and a neutral dispute path.
INTERNATIONAL GAME SYSTEMS
A player-contract framework that makes obligations, collateral, completion evidence, fees, cancellation, failure, and appeal visible before acceptance.
ORIENTATION
Escrow can reduce fraud, but opaque automation can create a different injustice. Fair contracts require mutual consent, bounded collateral, accessible terms, evidence preservation, and a neutral dispute path.
WORKING BRIEF
The interface states the task category, reward, collateral, deadline, cancellation rule, verification method, geography, known hazards, accessibility demands, data collected, fees, and dispute process before acceptance.
The system locks the promised reward and any agreed collateral. A fee is identified separately. Locked funds remain attributable to their owner until a defined settlement state; they are not silently converted into a sink.
Objective events may settle automatically when the engine can verify them reliably. Ambiguous delivery, interruption, accessibility failure, server fault, or misconduct creates a review case rather than an automatic forfeiture.
Suggested collateral considers declared cargo value and route class but remains capped and reviewable. An issuer cannot inflate collateral to profit from predictable failure, and a courier can see the maximum exposure before accepting.
The dispute record includes terms, timestamps, state transitions, system errors, relevant logs, player statements, and exculpatory information. Reviewers cannot rely on reputation alone or treat a new player as less credible by default.
Possible outcomes include full payment, partial payment, refund, collateral return, fee reversal, extension, replacement delivery, compensation for server fault, warning, or a reasoned denial with appeal.
